RBC FUTURE LAUNCH COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

This year the LdB Foundation was excited to be one of 150 Foundations Canada-wide chosen to partner with the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge to administer a grant of up to $15,000 to youth-lead projects that responded to an urgent need in our community.

We are pleased to announce that two local projects were chosen to receive this grant. The Lac du Bonnet Youth Centre received $5750 for their Building Computers project and a group from Lac du Bonnet Senior School received $9250 for their Medicine Wheel Garden project. A granting ceremony took place at the St. John’s Anglican Church Hall on Thursday November 28.

FALL GRANT ANNOUNCEMENT 2019

The Lac du Bonnet Foundation was pleased to award a $5000 grant to the Lac du Bonnet Arena on November 5 towards the replacement of the dressing room and skate area matting during the Fall Granting process. The LDBSS YIP Committee provided the Arena with an additional $3500 grant to help fund this project.
